We have just recently joined the Hitch Hikin' Spike campaign against the spread of noxious weeds in Northeast Oregon. Hitch Hikin' Spike is centered around the website www.oregonweeds.org to provide a quick and easy source of information about noxious weeds, like:
What are they?
Why care?
Are you spreading noxious weeds?
What you can do...
We are working with individuals and organizations to help promote Hitch Hikin' Spike, the destruction caused by noxious weeds, and ways to prevent their proliferation. We have ROAD SIGNS, BASEBALL CAPS, FLOPPY HATS, STICKERS, and GARDENING GLOVES for distribution that will help raise public awareness of the campaign.
